Like Independence Day – I first saw the uncut version and then saw the edited version. Still enjoy the edited version, though it’s not as good.

Yeah, in the end they help the humans. Actually, I think it’s more the T-Rex that ends up saving them from the Raptors than the Raptors saving them.
